About Me

Hi...!!!!! My name is R. Betty Sribudiwati, but please call me Betty. I come from Indonesia. I was born in Tasikmalaya,on April 2nd. I come from the family of six children with one older brother (R. Asep Bambang Setiawan), two younger sisters (R. Dini Srijunilawati Semiati and R. Fera Srifariyati) and two younger brothers (R. Chandra Bambang Semiaji and R. Ery Bambang Eriyadi). And since one of my sisters and two of my brothers are married; I have three nephews and three nieces who are really cute and adorable.
My father's name is R. Subarnas and mother is R. Onok Rumnasih. My parents are lecturers. I am happy that I have strict parents because they make me stong in life. :) Before I hate education at home but now I understand why my parents gave me disipline for study and life. :)
Hobbies...I have so many hobbies...such as hiking, sky diving, Shooting playing chess, playing the piano, listening to popular and classical music and lately I put so much interest into collecting rocks, spoons, keyrings, matches, stamps and phone cards :)
Jobs...researcher in Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) ; Lecturer in Academic Analysis at Jakarta; Assistant Professor in Agricultural University Bogor (IPB Bogor) and consulting in PT. Sumber Daya Agung in Jakarta.
To release my stress and also to kill time, I usually play IRC and believe it or not I do make lots of friends. I also met my husband (#Ardila and #Jatim) from there..:). You can find me in IRC in #Indonesia, #Bawel, #Medan, #Uni,#Khatulistiwa. But I have my own channel for private chatting in #Lara or #Tumasik. My nickname is either Lara, DeepSea or Amirah. My husband nick name is Ryoga, RadenMas or Amir.
On August 4th 1997, I married my love R.M. Stuart Evan Brooks or R.M. Amir Abdul-Rahim from Andover (see map). He was born in Gloucester,on May 17th. I am very lucky that I chose him because he is handsome, kind, clever and he loves me a lot and supports me. He has changed everything because of me :). I am very happy with him :).
I am still studying in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Wales, in Cardiff (United Kingdom). I am studying for a PhD in geology. My research is about deepsea volcanoes.My thesisis about "Chalcopyrite Formation in the Deep Sea Floor".
My supervisor is the Dean of my Department Prof. Dr. David.T.Rickard. He is very clever and brilliant. I should follow him very quickly. He supports me very much. I should study very hard because he is very critical. But I still enjoy working with him :).
